Another intro song by SPB for Rajini's "Lingaa"
Well there has been a good news for Rajinikanth fans, first one is that actor has completed shoots of his upcoming "Lingaa" Tamil movie and second one is that famous singer S P Balasubramaniam once again rendered a song in his voice for this film. "Lingaa" is making waves since its inception and the release is expected around December this year.
K S Ravikumar directing this film has Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka
Shetty, Dev Gill, Jagapathi Babu, Karunakaran, Santhanam, Prabhu Ganeshan, Radha Ravi, Manobala, Lauren J Irwin, William Orendorf, Vijayakumar, Radha Ravi and others in the cast. Songs have been composed by A R Rahman.
S P Balasubrahmanyam wrote this on his social networking site page - 'Dear well-wishers and Music lovers,in the recent past, wherever I was, travelling or in public functions, particularly in Tamilnadu, the only question I was asked was "Did you sing for Rajinikanth's "LINGAA"?
They all want the Super star's intro song to be sung by me. Yes Sir, I just concluded the recording session of THAT song you all expect me to sing. Beautiful number by Rahman, penned by Sri Vairamuthu. For obvious reasons, I am not supposed to give any more details at this time. I can only say, Rajini's fans will not be disappointed. Worth the wait.'
